Daffodils
"The Promenade of Daffodils" has been developed along the riverbed of the Nagara River between the Parking Area No. 1 and the Nagaragawa Service Center. Winter daffodils come into blossom in early February. 100 varieties of spring daffodils begin blooming in mid-March. Would you like to go for a walk along the Nagara River looking at many daffodils in blossom?

Dandelions
The riverside area beautifully colored by many dandelions. More and more dandelions originating from Japan have been planted, and the best time to see the dandelions is between mid-March and early May.
Tulips
The Tulip Festival is one of the major events in the Kiso Sansen Park. Many different types of tulips are planted every year. Some tulips may be familiar to you, but some are rare. You will not be able to picture the tulips just by their names, so come and see all the tulips that will bloom in early April.

Roses
4000 roses are welcoming you to the Rose Stream. The best seasons to see the roses are from late May to early June and from late October to early November.

Flower garden of poppies and nemophilas

In this garden, flowers that bloom from spring to early summer were seeded in autumn. Shirley poppies and nemophilas were planted as the base, and tulips, agrostemma and babyÕs breath in spots. When they come into blossom from mid-April to the end of May, you will enjoy a blanket of flowers covering the garden.

Lotus
